Fake Grass Improves Las Vegas Homes

There was a time when the homeowner in Las Vegas was all about wasting money.  People took their cues from the casinos who were in the business of creating the feel of an oasis in the desert by installing lush and green landscapes they utilized large amounts of water and resources to keep it looking good.  The casinos realize that they can create a look and feel of an oasis, it would attract people who gamble at their slot machines, so ultimately the wasting of our natural resources was replenished with the incoming money from people who were patronizing the businesses.  Unfortunately, this same attitude to hold with the people who lived in Las Vegas, and they began trying to create an oasis in the desert within their home space.  A growing plants from tropical areas that need significant amount of water in order to survive in the heat, and even went as far as planting grass lawns which have almost no ability to survive for even a few days without regular watering.  The problem is that as the population grew in Las Vegas, and the water supply began to shrink.  After a while, it became so that we were reaching dangerously low levels within our reserves, and we were not able to guarantee that the most vulnerable of the population that relies upon the public drinking supply was going to be able to be assured that their water would be there.  It may seem unbelievable, but there have been water shortages within our lifetimes that have resulted in death and despair for populations.  Still Las Vegas was not too go down the same route, the large scale advertising and marketing campaign was attached to the water conservation effort in an attempt to change people’s attitudes.  At the current time, not only are fines imposed by those that waste water, the marketing campaign has also made great strides in changing the attitude that people have horns those that waste water.  It is currently considered to be a negative thing no matter how much money you can afford to pay.  If you were thinking about selling your house, there is a good chance that you are going to need to remove those elements that are perceived to be negative in order to get top dollar for it.  That is going to mean that you’re going to need to upgrade your systems and probably move that grass lawn that you once took such pride in.  Artificial turf is going to give you the ability to have that same neat and tidy look, and you will not be to waste water in order to keep it looking that way.  As a matter of fact, the water authority will give you upwards of $3.00 per square foot of grass that you remove and replace with artificial turf, ultimately making your home or more appealing to potential buyers and conserving water at the same time.
