Las Vegas Is Perfect For Synthetic Grass

Las Vegas has always been a place where dreams come true, where fortunes are made and where people come to forget their troubles. Anyone who has been to Las Vega sin the past 30 years realizes that the entire concept is that with enough money and effort, you can create anything that you want to. You can create an oasis of lush plants and water in the desert, even if nothing like that can grow here naturally. In order to keep it all alive it is going to take a ton of work and money, but it is possible. The question is if it is a good idea just because you can do it. Water is a precious commodity in Las Vegas, and wasting water is dangerous because there is always a potential that there could not be enough for the population to drink. Drought conditions make it quite dangerous for those who rely on the public water supply to survive, and in a situation where there was not enough water to go around, we could end up with a serious health crisis on our hands. If we were to run out, there is no secondary reserve that we can draw from. This is why water restrictions are always in effect in Las Vegas, and why we must encourage everyone to conserve water at all costs. That is going to mean that we cannot have some of the things we want to have, even if we can afford them.

A perfect example of this situation is landscaping. Grass takes more than 50 gallons of water per square foot in Las Vegas just to survive. By watering your lawn in order to keep it green, you are taking water away from the reserve that we will need if our supply gets too low, which is literally putting plants over people. Naturally, we cannot have this and the biggest push among the water conservation groups is to remove the landscaping that serves no purpose except decoration. Instead, you are encouraged to explore the options of desert landscaping, xeriscaping and artificial turf. Synthetic grass is a great solution for those who want a soft and lush carpeting of grass in the desert, simply because it requires no water or care of any kind. It is good for the environment and it is good for your wallet at the same time. This is why so many homes in Las Vegas are switching away from their grass lawns and installing synthetic grass instead. Of course there will be those who say that the care of a lawn gives them peace of mind, but in Las Vegas it is not ever going to result in care. Instead, you will simply be fighting to keep your lawn alive while the sun attempts to kill it off daily. Instead of fighting a battle that you will eventually lose anyway, why not allocate that money into artificial turf, which will never die and will always look great. Call us when you are ready.
