Young people today are conscious of conserving water in Las Vegas, and want to do their part even though they can afford to pay the fines that are associated with watering landscapes.  The value their time more than we did in the past, and view the maintenance of a grass lawn as being a negative thing when it could be upgraded to a synthetic lawn that needs no maintenance.  They see themselves enjoying their space rather than working on it, and they also see themselves as being part of a community effort to conserve our most precious natural resource in the desert.  This shift in the way that water conservation is viewed has brought about the dramatic change in the way that our homes are presented.  The homes that get the most money at resale are the ones that have upgraded to water smart landscaping and artificial turf.  If you were considering selling your home, you may want to make this investment so as to appeal to the widest range of younger buyers.
