Las Vegas Loves Synthetic Grass

When you first came to visit Las Vegas, you probably noticed that nearly everything on the strip is not natural.  Las Vegas has made itself into the land of false elements, positioning itself as an “oasis in the desert” simply because we had the money to do it.  An actual oasis in the desert is a natural place that has water and plant life even though it is surrounded by an area that has none of it.  Las Vegas was established as a place to rest while on your trip from the east coast to California, and as a reprieve from the long and lonely desert.  The city was created to cater to a travelers wants and needs, and to make money off the fact that there was nowhere else to go for many miles.  When you are the only place to go, people passing through will spend their money in your businesses.  Las Vegas got rich doing exactly this, and even though it was not a natural oasis in the desert, people began to think of it that way.

Las Vegas began to use its money to appear more like the oasis that people perceived it as.  The casinos started going to great lengths to decorate their grounds with elements that were completely un-natural to the area.  Casinos like “The Mirage” went as far as to bring in palm trees and artificial water flowing like a river, as well as a volcano in order to give the appearance that you had landed in an area that was special.  While everything was obviously fake, patrons loved it for making them feel as though they had found a special area.  Las Vegas became a place where you are completely aware that everything is fake, but you don’t care because you like the way it looks.

Over time, home owners began to do the same things with their houses that the casinos were doing.  Many people began using their landscaping budgets to create completely artificial environments that make them happy.  One of the primary elements that is used time and time again in Las Vegas is artificial turf.  This is a synthetic plastic product that is designed to look and feel like lush grass, even though it does not need any water in order to survive.  The plastic blades of grass are cut to look like a perfectly manicured lawn that would take many years to grow and care for in order to look that perfect.  While others around you are slaving over their landscaping, you can literally be enjoying yours without any of the work.  Artificial turf is, in many ways, exactly what Las Vegas has always been about.  In other areas people might think that putting in artificial turf would be un-necessary because they can grow grass easily, but here in Las Vegas where it is nearly impossible you can create your own oasis in the desert just by making a phone call to us.  Our estimates are free, and we guarantee all our work.
