Remake Your Yard With Fake Grass

I know what you are thinking. Fake grass doesn’t look real, and it feels like plastic when you walk on it. Only people who can’t grow real grass would use fake grass, and even if it is done really well it still doesn’t have that lush look of real grass. Unfortunately, you are wrong about your opinions and should probably begin to consider taking out your grass yard and installing something more water smart like fake grass. This is simply because the modern world has woken up to the fact that real grass is not necessary and it hurts our Las Vegas community. It costs a lot of money every year, and it takes our time away from doing things that we would rather be doing. These are the attitudes of younger people today, and unfortunately your property values are determined by the demand among younger people. Older people tend to not buy houses at the same rates that younger people do, and a house that is essentially “old fashioned” is not going to sell as quickly as one that is modern. Yes, your grass lawn is considered “old fashioned.”

So why don’t young people want yards any more? It isn’t really that young people do not want yards, it’t that they don’t want the responsibilities of the upkeep of those yards. They also are more conscious and aware of the community they live in, and how their actions have an impact on the greater whole of society. Even if it isn’t something as simple as not wanting to spend their weekends mowing the lawn, young people are concerned about saving water in Las Vegas. We are in the middle of a severe drought and unless everyone takes steps every day to conserve and save water, we have a potential of running out completely. Our community has grown so large that our needs for water have outpaced our ability to find new sources, and when coupled with the drought the supplies are dwindling. This kicks off a community-wide conservation effort to save the water we have, and essentially means that if you waste water you are not good for the community. This might not have meant much to you in the past, but to young people it has an impact. Young people want to help their communities, and as a result they participate in community programs to a greater degree. They want to conserve water in Las Vegas, so they gravitate to the homes that allow them to do that simply by owning them. This drives up the property values of homes with no yards, or ones that have converted over to artificial turf.

When buying a home, younger people want their lives to be easy. They view their homes as the place where they live, and do not want to put in extra effort to keep that home looking good. Artificial turf or pavers is a great addition to the exterior of your home that reduces the need for ongoing work, making your home more appealing to those younger buyers. And it helps our community too!
